This position is responsible for leading the advertising and search strategy for Sage is small business division through the execution of various advertising media, which may include search marketing both paid (PPC) and organic (SEO), online advertising, print, direct mail, TV, radio, etc; Manages the relationship with the advertising agency to oversee the development and placement of advertising; coordinates with product marketing and BU leadership to deliver search marketing and advertising materials in support of the product/business unit strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Senior Director of Advertising and Search to develop & execute annual and quarterly search and advertising strategy & plans
  • Effectively owns Sage 50 and Sage One paid and organic search campaigns , applying best-in-class / best practices to overall campaign performance, user experience and conversion to leads/e-store sales
  • Develop plans for and oversee online product launches, enhancements and competitive opportunities online with responsibility to coordinate plans with other marketing team members and corporate stakeholders
  • Manage & optimize Paid and Organic Search campaigns and budgets
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and outside vendors to translate business goals into highly effective online marketing programs that deliver an exceptional customer experience and meet revenue objectives

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor is degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years related experience and/or training
  • Strong understanding of paid and organic search, Google ad words, GDN/Google Display Network, banner display campaigns, social media advertising, retargeting campaigns, video advertising vehicles as well as traditional media tactics like Radio/Print
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
